No Fail Sugar Cookies - My kind of baking

The 2nd and last Homemecky Becky (sorry Beck) thing that I do is make sugar cookies with my kids. "No Fail Sugar Cookies" at that.

My husband just got home from work after sludging home for 2 1/2 hours in the snow, so he did his crossword puzzle while we decorated, then he went and shoveled.

At least Anna will still pose for me.

Molly refused to have her picture taken so I took one of her snowmen couple. She's so creative. I just slab the frosting on and she takes her time with a toothpick.

One of the great beauties of living in the Midwest

I love that businesses out here put up the Nativity set during the Holidays. There's a couple of banks that display them, a tool maker and even Wild Buffalo Wings. Just makes my heart happy that these businesses can show what this season is all about. A quote that my friend Diane wrote on her blog that I really like is "Are you part of the Inn crowd or part of the Stable crowd?" Just a thought.
