Emi comes home in a week!

Thought I'd post some pics of Em during the last year and a half. She spent 3 months learning Korean in the Provo Missionary Training Center then finally in Oct 2007 she landed in Korea where she couldn't understand the Koreans, they couldn't understand her and she couldn't understand herself either. Now over a year later she's confidant in her language skills.

She's spent most of her time serving out in the country, teaching English and the gospel to those who want to hear. She's acquired the taste of kim chee(fermented cabbage, oooooh) She says she can't live without it now. Here's a girl who hated fish and beans before she left and now she eats squid and smelly cabbage.

She loves the Korean people. I think it has something to do with the fact that they think she is so tall, yeah all 5"2 of her and that she is so beautiful. Well of course I would have to agree with that one. They say she must be from royalty. She even found a princess outfit over there to continue her love for dressing up.

She's had a great adventure, one that she will never forget and hopefully those she taught will always be grateful that she shared the Love of Our Saviour with them.
I know I'm thankful for the 2 sister missionaries that taught me 35 years ago.
