I loved, loved, loved this book. It's not very often that I find a book that makes me laugh out loud not once or twice but several times.
The three main characters were so endearing to me, I didn't want the book to end. The relationships that all three have not only with each other but in their personal lives as well, was just sweet and true to life for me.
The story takes place during my lifetime, well my early lifetime, but none the less. I honestly had no idea about the Southern lifestyle and "The Help" from the black community. I loved how she wove pieces of history in her story, just made me feel like I was sitting right there at the kitchen table listening to the happenings of the day.
Impressed with Ms. Stockett being that this is her first novel. How does that happen?
