Even though Holy Chuck O Rama was a memorable Thanksgiving for us last year I was thrilled when Kate suggested we could have our meal in their cute lil basement apartment as long as I helped with the Turkey. Yippeee - no problem.
Jonathan had just carved his first turkey and I missed the photo opportunity so all I got was him dumping the cranberry sauce out
I was so impressed with Kate and her culinary skills. She made the rolls on her first try when someone told her it would take several times to get it right. She also made the greatest garlic mashed potatoes. She converted several of us to her yummy yams as well.
I've decided my husband is sexy in an apron. Why didn't I ever know this before? Guess what he's getting for Christmas? I also think men are sexy in kilts but we'd have to live in Scotland for that to work. Anyway here's the trio making pomegranate salsa for a Sunday snack.
What a fun week we had, playing games,cooking, eating, visiting with my brother and sister,listening to my nephew Chad play his guitar and especially holding Sweet Ellie. So Thanks Jonathan and Kate for Thanksgiving 2008
